We have a 4-session – 2 full days, Wednesday & Friday to cover Maternity Leave from June – Dec 2024.
Based in modern purpose-built practice in Paisley our 7-partner training practice is supported by a strong clinical/admin team, with additional support from in-house allied staff including an advanced nurse practitioner, well-being nurse, pharmacotherapy, community link worker and phlebotomist. Our ideal person will be enthusiastic, motivated, flexible and committed to improving both the long-term health outcomes of our 9500 patients and the continued success of our established practice values. We encourage participation in our MDT practice meetings and are open to fresh and forward-thinking ideas to improve quality and care. GP Maternity Locum, Ardgowan Medical Practice – Greenock
- Vacancy Details: Ardgowan Medical Practice are looking for a maternity locum from now. We are offering 8 sessions per week for one year, although we have flexibility regarding sessions, start/finishing times etc. We are a friendly GP practice based in Greenock (on the Firth of Clyde 25 miles west of Glasgow) serving a population of 9,500 patients. - Vacancy Details: We are looking to recruit a friendly, motivated and hard working GP to join our friendly supportive team at Gleniffer Medical Practice. We are situated within the Barrhead Health & Care Centre, only a 10mins drive from the M77, with accessible parking and 10 minute walk from the train station.
The Practice Team consists of 6 GP Partners, 3 Practice Nurses, and 1 Health Care Assistant and with an excellent admin/reception team. We are currently using EMIS and Docman with a Practice list size of 9200. You will also be supported by an attached clinical team of a Physiotherapist, Community Link Worker, 2 Pharmacists, Pharmacy technician, Health Visitors, District Nursing Team and also access to the HSCP Treatment room and Phlebotomy Service, which also based in the Health Centre.
The Practice offer daily Face to Face appointments, telephone consultations and on call with a very low rate of house visits.
This Locum/Salaried post if for 4-6 sessions per week with some flexibility, Golden Hello payment maybe eligible and would welcome newly qualified GP’s who will be supported by all clinical staff.

- Vacancy Details: We are looking to recruit a dedicated enthusiastic GP to join our friendly supportive team at Townhead Health Centre in Glasgow Royal Infirmary Queen Elizabeth Building, off Alexandra Parade. We are a 6 doctor practice with a very experienced admin/reception team. There is support within the practice with HCA’s and Practice Nurse activity. We also have an excellent treatment room on site and Heath Visitor colleagues for support along with District Nurse provision. We also have a pharmacy team of 3, a mix of experienced pharmacists and technicians. We also have a Welfare Rights worker (one day per week) and Community Link worker full-time in the practice. We are a warm, welcoming and friendly practice with an excellent administrative team. We are attached to Glasgow University and take third year medical students as well as some other student projects. We are an EMIS practice using Docman clinical system. We have an exceptionally low house visit rate. We are very aware of the well-being of our team and so encourage a sustainable work/life balance. We are very flexible in our approach, 6-8 sessions per week post. The positioning of the practice within the Royal Infirmary allows for a varied approach to GP careers including dovetailing with sessional posts in the Royal Infirmary. - Vacancy Details: Kessington Medical Centre is looking for six months maternity Locum cover for 4 sessions per week on a Wednesday & Thursday from late August to February 2025.
We are a 5 Partner practice with 1 Registrar, 2 Practice Nurses, 1 Health Care Assistant and a team of experienced reception staff covering a population of 7700 patients.
In addition to the practice staff we also have a multi-disciplinary team comprising of a Physiotherapist, Pharmacist, Pharmacy Technician, ANP, Social & Well Being Officer and CTAC nurses.
The practice is within its own premises, and has car parking facilities which is accessed via West Chapleton Avenue.

We are an EMIS/ Docman practice and currently offer a mix of Telephone and F2F appointments. Housecalls if required. Acute/special requests and some signing of repeats as required.
