We use Emis/Docman in the practice, with a list size of approximately 4,000 patients. There are currently 5 Doctors working in the Practice, as well as having the support from a multi-disciplinary team which includes a Physician Associate, Nurse Practitioner and Practice Nurse. We are very fortunate to be one of the only practices in this board area, to have an Advanced Pharmacist supporting us, alongside two technicians. Similarly, we are one of a few practices who have access to a Family Wellbeing Worker, Welfare Rights worker and a Community Link worker.
We currently seek a long term locum to join us on Wednesdays and Fridays. Ideally this will be for three sessions but we can be flexible for the right person.

Long Term Locum, Parade Group Practice

- Vacancy details: We are looking to recruit a dedicated enthusiastic GP, to join our friendly supportive team at Townhead Health Centre, Glasgow Royal Infirmary Queen Elizabeth Building, off Alexandra Parade.
- This is a warm, welcoming friendly practice with an excellent administrative and a very experienced reception team. Our Practice has 7 Doctors, that have plenty support from HCA’s and Practice Nurse activity. There is an excellent treatment room on site, Heath Visitor colleagues, along with District Nurse provisions. Our pharmacy team of 3, includes a mix of experienced pharmacists and technicians. We have a Welfare Rights worker and a Community Link worker, that is full-time in the practice too.
- Our premises are attached to Glasgow University and happy to take third year medical students, as well as some other student projects. This is an EMIS practice, using Docman clinical system. Our house visit rate is exceptionally low. We are very aware of the well-being of our team, and encourage a sustainable work/life balance for all. The positioning of the practice within the Royal Infirmary, allows for a varied approach to GP careers, including dovetailing with sessional posts within the Royal Infirmary. We conduct weekly practice meetings with us being a forward thinking practice, committed to improving patient care and our working day arrangements.
