We are aware that Practices have been asked by a number of different departments to include certain significant diagnosis in their eKIS summaries. In particular the Aortic Aneurysm screening service has asked some Practices to add this diagnosis Practices could take the view that a patient with the positive result from AAA screening should form part of their planned ACP work under the GMS Contract. If so, you should always firstly obtain consent from the patient and generate an eKIS record which will be part of the ACP work for 2014/15.
