    We are well supported by district nurses, health visitors and community pharmacy team. We undertake Palliative MDTs on a regular basis. We have pharmacy hub support for immediate discharge letters.

Salaried GP with a view to Partnership, Ardgowan Medical Practice

    Ardgowan Medical Practice have an exciting opportunity to recruit a Salaried GP’s with a view to partnership. We are a well-established practice and have a supported practice team. We are offering 6 – 8 sessions per week, although we have flexibility regarding sessions. We are a friendly GP practice based in Greenock (on the Firth of Clyde 25 miles west of Glasgow) serving a population of 9,500 patients. Our practice team consists of 2 GP Partners, 5 Salaried GP’s, Practice Nurse, Practice Manager, Deputy Practice Manager and 8 Admin Staff. The practice is supported by a full time Pharmacist, Pharmacy Technicians, District Nurses, Health Visitors, CPN’s, CLW, Phlebotomist, Community Home Visiting ANP and Practice Physio. The practice work with Emis and Docman and training is available if required. Our appointment system is a mix of on the day appointments, telephone appointments, bookable on the day appointments for GP only to use. We have regular practice meetings and Practice Based Small Group Learning to ensure all GP team members feel included. We have regular catch-up breaks and admin time is included and there is abundant peer support should there be clinical or administrative related questions. Our practice is aiming to be a training practice in the future to help with GP training, education and recruitment for the future. The practice also help with training for community ANP’s who help with our daily home visits. We have a fully-staffed, well established team with a wealth of many years’ experience who take pride in the service we offer to our patients. We are a happy, stable and enthusiastic practice who understand the need for work-life balance and offer mentoring and support for all members of the team. The practice is 30 minute commute from Glasgow and we have on-site parking for all staff. The successful candidates could qualify for a Golden Hello payment. Salaried GP, Parade Group Practice

  • Vacancy details: We are looking to recruit a dedicated enthusiastic GP to join our friendly supportive team at Townhead Health Centre in Glasgow Royal Infirmary Queen Elizabeth Building, off Alexandra Parade. We are a 6 doctor practice with a very experienced admin/reception team. There is support within the practice with HCA’s and Practice Nurse activity. We also have an excellent treatment room on site and Heath Visitor colleagues for support along with District Nurse provision. We also have a pharmacy team of 3, a mix of experienced pharmacists and technicians. We also have a Welfare Rights worker and Community Link worker full-time in the practice. We are a warm, welcoming and friendly practice with an excellent administrative team. We are attached to Glasgow University and take third year medical students as well as some other student projects. We are an EMIS practice using Docman clinical system. A golden hello payment would be applicable where eligible. We have an exceptionally low house visit rate. We are very aware of the well-being of our team and so encourage a sustainable work/life balance. We are very flexible in our approach, 6-8 sessions per week post. The positioning of the practice within the Royal Infirmary allows for a varied approach to GP careers including dovetailing with sessional posts in the Royal Infirmary. Salaried/Locum GP post with a view to partnership, Ibroxholm Medical Centre

We are recruiting for a GP to cover 4-5 sessions per week, with mandatory full days on Monday and Thursday and some flexibility around the fifth session. We would be aiming for this to be a Partnership position, but would be happy for it to be salaried or regular fixed locum shifts initially. Our welcoming and close-knit practice serves approximately 2800 patients and boasts a stable patient base. Salaried GP posts, Bishopton Medical Practice

  • Vacancy details: Bishopton Medical Practice is a friendly and supportive, forward-thinking Practice of over 11,900 patients located in a beautiful part of Renfrewshire, with good transport links via road and rail. Our clinical team consists of 5 GP Partners, 3 Salaried GPs, 2 ANPs, 2 PNs and GP Trainees. We are the sole Practice operating out of Bishopton Health Centre (owned by Renfrewshire HSCP) which is shared with attached staff.
    We are a Practice that offers both joint injections and contraceptive implant/coil services. We also provide cover locally to Erskine Hospital (Nursing Home), Ailsa Lodge (Care Home), and the Good Shepherd Centre (secure & intensive service/facility for vulnerable young people).We are undergoing significant growth from a large local housing development (Dargavel), and to this end we are looking to expand our team into our newly built satellite building when it opens this year in late summer/early Autumn. As such, we are now recruiting for a total of 10 Salaried GP sessions, between two successful applicants. We are also a busy, well-organised GP Teaching and Training Practice, with two very experienced GP Trainers. As part of our succession planning, we are looking for one of the successful candidates to either already be a qualified GP Trainer, or indeed willing to commit to begin training as a GP Trainer within 2-3 years of joining our team.
