Salaried GP 4-6 sessions, Main Street Medical Centre

  We are a friendly deep-end practice working in the heart of Bridgeton. Established in this area in 2009, our growing patient list is currently sitting at around 8,500. Our practice team consists of 4 GP partners, a salaried GP and a GP Retainee. We also have 2 practice nurses and a full time health care assistant as well as a strong administrative team to support all that we do. As a training practice we regularly have trainees and currently host GPST3, GPST1 and FY2 in practice.
  Our multi-disciplinary team is boosted with support from our HSCP colleagues and we currently have an advanced physiotherapy practitioner, pharmacist, community links practitioner and welfare rights adviser. We also ‘house’ our Health visiting team at the practice. We have good communication with the wider team holding monthly Gold standards meeting with the District Nurses and Vulnerable families meetings with the health visitor team. Our weekly practice meeting is held on a Tuesday afternoon and we include a mix of clinical and business discussion.
  We have recently moved to the hosted version of Vision as a step towards a fully cloud based system and use this alongside Docman for patient consultations and document storage.

GP Retainer Vacancy, Barony Medical Centre

  The Practice consists of 5 partners, ANP, Practice Nurse, HCSW, a Link Worker, Welfare Advisor, an excellent Administration Team, attached District Nursing, Pharmacotherapy Service, and Health Visitors. The Practice also have access to the HSCP Treatment room and Phlebotomy Service.
