- Vacancy Details: Practice B is looking to recruit a Full-time Medical Receptionists at 37 hours hours per week, with the successful candidate being available to work between 8:30am-6pm Mon-Fri. Previous experience of working in a General Practice environment is desirable but not essential as full training will be given. Experience of IT systems, in particular EMIS and Docman would be advantageous. The primary function of this role will be to assist in the smooth running of the reception desk and will include main reception duties, dealing with patients at reception and over the telephone, processing prescriptions and mail, booking and cancelling appointments, ‘signposting’ patients to the appropriate service, and many other administrative duties. Customer Service experience is essential to this role. Medical typist and/or HCSW experience would also be beneficial. Salary will be commensurate with relevant experience.

We are currently looking to employ an enthusiastic and reliable Receptionist/Administration Assistant to join our friendly and organised team. This is a 20 hour/week role, Mon 1.30-5.30pm, Thurs 8.00-6pm and Fri 10-6pm. This role requires excellent communication and IT skills with attention to detail as well as previous experience in a fast paced patient or customer facing role.
