- Vacancy Details: We are currently seeking an enthusiastic, pro-active and highly motivated Practice Nurse to join our well organised, hard working and friendly forward thinking team on a part -time or full time basis. The ideal candidate would be a Practice Nurse with experience in Chronic Disease Management, women’s health particularly cervical cytology and contraception and would be an Independent Nurse Prescriber. We are a 6 GP paper-light practice/EMIS/Docman, therefore excellent IT skills, patient communication skills and professional skills are essential The practice is based in Townhead Health Centre in the Queen Elizabeth Building in Glasgow Royal Infirmary. Practice Nurse, Dr Day & DR Raja

- Vacancy Details: An enthusiastic and motivated practice nurse is sought for a small friendly training practice in Glasgow. Hours can be negotiable. We are looking for a nurse who is organised and can work independently to start in around August, the earliest date being preferable. We are a high achieving practice located in a health centre and comprise 2 GPs with attached health visitors, treatment room and district nurses. Duties would include chronic disease management, cervical screening, immunisation, phlebotomy and health promotion. Experience in practice nursing is desirable but training can be provided if necessary. A more experienced candidate would have the opportunity for triage, prescribing and teaching.
