Forge Medical Practice have roughly 5000 Patients registered with us. Our team currently comprises of 2 GP Partners, three salaried GPs, one Practice Nurse and one HCA, in addition to a large and efficient administration team. Our practices also benefit from an extensive multi- disciplinary team including Pharmacotherapy, Physiotherapy, Community Link Worker. We are an EMIS/DOCMAN practice.
It would be advantageous for any candidates with primary care experience to apply but this is not essential, and training will be provided if required. Skills to participate in chronic disease management areas is desirable with scope to develop further clinical interests too. The candidate should have an ability to operate independently as well as work well within a close team.Benefits include NHS pension and holiday / leave entitlements of 6 weeks pro rota in addition to bank/public holidays.NMC registration and up to date revalidation with good IT and communication skills are also required.

We are a well-established six partner practice in our own building in the centre of Paisley. We are supported by a fantastic practice team including a practice manager, 2 ANP, practice nurse, 2 phlebotomists, Pharmacy Hub, community link worker, a mental health liaison nurse as well as a full complement of reception and admin staff. We operate an open door policy and boast a very low staff turnover.We are looking to recruit an ANP to join our team. The position is for 8-10 sessions. Experience is essential. Salary £55-60K FTE (dependent on experience) with 6 weeks annual leave and standard terms. The Practice will accept applications for full-time or a job-sharing position.
The successful candidate would be involved in clinical reviews in the practice and have allocated time to help in any house visit reviews for which our practice has generally low rates of house visits.
The ANPs at our practice are supported by a GP supervisor for their support and development.Our Practice list size is approximately 9000 patients and we currently work with EMIS, Docman, MJOG and Voice Technology for digital dictation. We are seeking a General Practice Nurse with excellent communication and organisational skills, and experience in long-term condition management.The post will be 20 hours per week, salary commensurate with skills and experience, and will primarily involve long-term condition management in addition to cervical smear screening and general nursing care. The successful candidate will demonstrate enthusiasm, empathy and the ability to work both autonomously, and part of a team. The practice provides a supportive environment for continued professional development, and the successful applicant will be motivated to develop new skills. Systems currently in use are Vision and Docman. Experience with these would be advantageous but training can be given.
